The Uniko Studio Saturday Show!

Happy Weekend!

I'm back today to share a few cards that I have spotted around blogland that use Uniko Studio stamps in such FAB ways!

First up is Pauline ...

Just look at this pastel beauty using Background Builders - Lattice, it looks good enough to eat! I love that Pauline has combined 3 of the lattice designs to build a background too. Pauline is also the creator of this next beauty ...

Lovely PINK doily goodness on this card! Love the die cut decorative edge too, it works lovely with the largest doily pattern.

Next up is Ardyth ...

I just love the large graphic flower embossed in glossy black against the rainbow background, stunning! Must get me some black glossy embossing powder!

How about some FONTiment Fancies - Swirls & Flourishes paired with FONTiments - Birthday? Just look at this CAS design from Sue in such a classic colour combo ...

Camilla has WOWed me again with this card using Background Builders - Lattice a clock face from  Extra Time & the graphic flowers from Time ...

I love the colour combo plus how Camilla has cut out the Lattice panel, FAB! Camilla also has this beauty in her Flickr account ...

Hearts & Doilies a perfect combination!

Thank you ladies for creating such loveliness using Uniko Studio stamps! I LOVE to see what you all create so don't forget to drop me an email or link via the comments to your creations!

Thanks for stopping by today.

Less is more ...

HaPpY Friday!

How are we all? I'm tired after a FAB day out in London yesterday, but good tired after a day filled with sunshine, friends & lots of inspiration! I had a lay in this morning that's why I'm a little late with todays post!

Anyway, I finished this card for the current 'Less is More' challenge Paper Piecing ...

I do like a bit of fussy cutting every so often! I first stamped the large individual outline lattice stamp on  a panel of white CS. I then stamped it on 3 of the floral papers from the Joyful Butterfly digital collection and cut them out. I then just used my glue pen to adhere them to the panel which I then matted to some Baja Breeze CS before adhering to the card base using foam adhesive. The sentiment is from TIME.

This card also fits into the 'Hello' challenge over on Moxie Fab World celebrating the launch of Stamp It! magazine.

I'm at the drawing board today in The Studio as I want to get these ideas down on paper that came from all the lovely inspiration at New Designers yesterday! I'll be back tomorrow with a few more cards to share with you.

Thanks for stopping by today.

A CAS Thank You

Hello!

Sorry about the lack of post yesterday, things got a little busy here in The Studio. Anyway, I am back today with a card using the current Clean & Simple sketch below & as I made a Thank You card, it fits into the Moxie Fab Challenge week - Thank You cards.

When I saw the sketch I knew I had to use some Uniko Studio digital download patterned paper! I chose a design from the Joyful Butterfly collection.

Here's my card ...

Thats all from me today. I'm out of The Studio today on a day trip to London for some inspiration & ideas for NEW Uniko Studio products! I'm visiting the New Designers exhibition at the Design Centre in Angel, Islington where I had my work on display this time last year! How TIME flies!

Thanks for stopping by today.

Colour Splash!

Hey Y'all!

Today I have a card to share that has a splash of colour, I was inspired by the current Play Date Cafe challenge, Colour Splash. The colour for this challenge is Blue, my favourite colour ...

As the colour is used A LOT for masculine cards I decided to make a masculine card! I pulled out my trusty  EXTRA TIME stamp set & a couple of PTI dies and this is what I came up with ...

I decided to use 2 shades of blue on my card, Spring Rain & Enchanted Evening from PTI. I'm having fun this week designing NEW goodies for Uniko Studio stamps & digital products TIME is flying!

Thanks for stopping by today.

Casual & Pink

Good Monday Morning!

Anyway, until then I have a card to share. For this card I used the current challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays. The challenge this week is to use PINK.

Here is my card ...

I chose to use a BRIGHT pink. Raspberry Fizz from PTI. I kept my card really simple & with no sentiment so it can be used for any occasion that may arise. I used the medium & small graphic flowers from TIME

Short & sweet from me today, much to be done! Thanks for stopping by today.

Hello ...

Hello!

A quick post today to share a card I have made for the current Retro Sketch, here is the sketch ...

And here is my card ...

For my card I started out in Photoshop with a 8.5 X 8.5cm square. I used the Daisy brush from the English Country Garden digital collection & digitally stamped it in the lower right hand corner of my document. After printing the document I used my Prisma Colour pencils & Gamsol to colour & blend the flower. After adhering all the card elements & stamping the 'Hello' sentiment from Time, I added some Glossy Accents to the flower centre.

This was a fun CAS sketch & no doubt I will be reusing this sketch again! Hope your all having a good weekend?! Thanks for stopping by.

Colourful Swirls & Flourishes

Hello!

Today I have a colourful one layer card to share with you. I used the current colours over at ColourQ which I really enjoyed using. Here are the colours ...

I don't own Soft Sky so I substituted it for Pool Party which is a very close match. Here is how I used the colours ...

I used Swirls & Flourishes from FONTiment Fancies & paired it with 2 small doilies from Decorative Doilies - The Hands of Time & also a sentiment from FONTiments - Birthday. A few tiny rhinestones added a bit of sparkle!

I hope your all having a lovely weekend & find some time to get inky! Thanks for stopping by today.

Card Patterns

Happy Friday!

This week has certainly flown by for me as it has been jam packed full of fun days out, with friends, family & good work days! I'm looking forward to the weekend to slow down a little & relax!

Anyway, I have a card to share with you today that uses the current sketch over on Card Patterns. This is the sketch ...

And here is my card ...

There is quite a bit of pattern on this card for me a CAS kinda girl, but there is still some white space in there!! I started out by choosing a patterned paper from Joyful Butterfly digital collection. I then used the colours in the paper collection to build my card.

I used 3 of the small doilies from Decorative Doilies - The Hands of Time & the Sentiment is from Extra Time. The border punch is SU! and the flowers are die cut using PTI Beautiful Blooms dies. It's certainly a cheery card & I'm pleased with the results!

Thats all from me today, but I will be back tomorrow with another card to share! Thanks for stopping by!

Anyway, here is todays card ...

Today's card is super simple and uses Decorative Doilies - The Hands of Time paired with FONTiments - Birthday. I added loops of ribbon in Hawaiian Shores, Raspberry Fizz & Aqua Mist using matching buttons and ink!

Grey & Yellow

Whoohoo it Wednesday!

Half way through the working week, not that I stick to a normal working schedule! Today I have a card to share which uses an oldie but goodie colour combo, Grey & Yellow. Whilst blog hopping I came across the current colour challenge over on cr84fn HERE.

This was the inspiration photo ...

Here is my card ...

Decorative Doilies The Hands Of Time was still on my desk from yesterdays card so I pulled out one of the medium doily stamps and stamped it in Memento ink London Fog onto white CS & matted it to a Basic Grey CS base. The sentiment is from Extra Time & stamped onto Lemon Tart (PTI) CS which was die cut using PTIs Photo Finishers Holiday dies. I added a few lemon pearls to the doily centres to finish the card off.

It's only 3 weeks till the next Uniko Studio release & there is much to be done, so I had best get to it & get some work done!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Butterflies & Doilies

Hey!

I'm back today with a neutral card featuring butterflies & doilies, another perfect combination! In my eyes anyway!

This card was super easy! I used Decorative Doilies The Hands of Time & stamped one of the doilies in Fresh Snow in onto a Kraft CS base. I then used my Sizzix Circle dies to die cut a 1 5/8" circle & swiped the Fresh Snow ink around the edge & then adhering it to the centre of one of the doilies. The butterfly is a SU! punch & I used some October Afternoon paper from  my scrap pile & added a few pearls down the middle of the butterfly. The sentiment is from FONTiments - Birthday.

Here is a close up ...

I'm off to CCAD print club today to screen print some of Uniko Studio designs onto Tote bags, looking forward to going back to the college & using the print rooms & catching up with friends!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Felt Flower

Good Monday Morning!

I hope you all had a good weekend. I'm back to start the week with a colourful little card ...

For todays card I used the current challenge colours over at The Play Date Cafe HERE. This is a colour combo I have used a lot but not on cards, I have made many a iPhone case & felt brooch using these colours! I used Background Builders Lattice to create the stamped panel & the sentiment is from Time. I couldn't resist adding a felt flower embellishment & button to finish the card off!

Here is The Play Date Cafe inspiration photo ...

And here is a little close up of the felt flower ...

That's all from me today, I'll be back tomorrow with another card to share. It's a busy time here at Uniko Studio with lots of exciting things happening, be sure to keep stopping by to see what they are!

Thanks for stopping by!

To all the Dads ...

Happy Fathers Day!

I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. I'm back today to share a card I made using the current ColourQ #141 challenge colours. The photo below shows the colours & inspiration ...

Though the inspiration photo shows the green as the focus colour I kept it to a minimum on my card ...

I purposely only put 'Dad' on the tag so that the card can be used for other occasions other than Fathers Day. I really like the bold striped panel and will definitely use this LO again. As this card was so quick & simple I made another card using the same colour combo but with a little bit more green!

Again I have used the Time & Extra Time stamp sets on this card. I really must release some more masculine themed products!! Watch this space - no pun intended! Lol!

We're off out today to take my FIL to be out for Sunday dinner, it'll be the first Fathers Day in about 2 years that he is home & not away working. We went to the movies on Wednesday as a pre Fathers Day celebration to see Prometheus, it was a really good film.

I hope you all have a lovely day whatever you may be doing. Thanks for stopping by!

Perfect Combination ...

Welcome back & happy Friday!

Today I have a card to share with you that in my opinion uses a perfect combination of stamps, digital paper & digital stamps! I am biased as they are my designs but I am really pleased with how this combination turned out!!

So here it is ...

To make this card I started out by printing the dashed dot paper from the Joyful Butterfly digital download collection. I then stamped the medium single lattice image from Background Builders Lattice, cut them out and adhered them to a white CS panel.

Before I adhered the panel to the card base I stamped a frame image which is from mftstamps.com and the 'Smile' sentiment from FONTiments - Birthday. I had previously printed various sizes of the butterfly from English Country Garden digital stamp collection, so I coloured it in using SU! In Colour markers, added a bit of Hero Arts Prisma glitter and cut it out. I adhered just the middle section so that the wings could be raised slightly, a few rhinestones to the centre of the butterfly and I was done.

Here is a close up ...

I hope you like todays card & combination of stamps, paper & digital stamps, I'd love to hear what you think & what your favourite shapes, colours & images are to combine on projects!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Card Mixtures!

Helloooo!

Yes, I am still alive! A few days off to celebrate The Queens Diamond Jubilee ended up being over a week off!! I have to say the rest has done me some good and I have enjoyed both family time & alone time to kick start my creative mojo!

Anyway, enough of the chit chat & how about a few card shares?! I have a mixed bag of styles & colours to share with you today ...

This first card was made whilst in a Patriotic mood! I had been to The Paperlane and treated myself to a few new Memory Box dies. The Simple Banner die was one of them! The Classics digital download papers fit perfectly into The Queens Diamond Jubilee celebrations so I used the banner die to cut 3 of the paper designs contained in the collection. I paired it with a 'Celebrate' sentiment from FONTiments - Birthday stamped in Pacific Point from SU! Though the card has a Jubilee/Patriotic feel & colour scheme it can be used for many occasion.

This next card uses another new Memory Box die ...

When I saw this Bubble Daisy Border die I instantly thought of the ditsy floral papers contained in the Joyful Butterfly digital download. This card was super quick & simple & is in a very girly colour scheme! I die cut the border from the paper and adhered it to the card using my quickie glue pen. I added a few pearls to the flower centres.

I then die cut a butterfly from So Saffron CS using PTIs Butterfly Dreams die. I then used a Martha Stewart butterfly punch for the smaller butterfly. The sentiment is from FONTiments - Birthday. Here is a close up photo ...

This next card is the last of the cards for today ...

Doilies & Bling!! I used Stampin' Up! In Colour combo for this card with Calypso Coral taking the focus. I used 3 solid doilies from Decorative Doilies - The Hands of Time and a sentiment from Extra Time.

The ideas are now buzzing around head so I best get to work and put them to paper! Thanks for stopping by today!
